Guitarist and singer David Field traces his roots back to Chicago’s South Side, where folk, blues and classical music mixed with avant-
Field’s musical output has included playing electric guitar in Grateful Dead tribute bands, releasing a CD of nineteen beloved solo guitar arrangements titled Wordless Poetry, playing background guitar for restaurants and community events, and general folk singing. Also releasing two cd's with his Americana roots duos Dead Set and Skiddles. Field is also guitarist for the Sebastopol Love Choir.
Field’s choice of material comes from the folk and pop repertoire, and his relaxed but masterful guitar work produces a warm and friendly show. You can expect to hear songs from the likes of Kate Wolf, Paul Simon, John Denver, Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia, Crosby Stills & Nash and The Beatles; as well as some old-
